Born and raised in the heart of the 504, New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward, Carter Tha Jeweler is the original Baby Coridial, a name rooted in legacy and passion. He recorded his first track at just 9 years old, and by the time he played it for his 6th-grade class, he knew he had something special. The room went wild, and so did his ambition.

From a young age, Carter was surrounded by seasoned songwriters and creatives, sharpening his pen and finding his voice. Throughout middle and high school, music was more than just a talent, it was a calling. His first music videos dropped while he was still in school, and his early grind led to his first record deal. But when the pandemic hit and his mother began battling cancer, life shifted. After her passing, Cater channeled his pain into purpose, tightening his sound and elevating his vision.

His journey took him beyond New Orleans to Texas and Las Vegas, where he connected with artists and producers who matched his passion and hunger. Being away from home only pushed him harder. Now, discovered by the legendary Eddie Hustle, aka Butter, Carter Tha Jeweler is set to take his music to heights words can’t even describe.
